| My holiday ends in a blink of eye.... i had a relaxing week without bothering any attachment or medical textbooks at all... GRADUATION so glad to have people celebrating my graduation never in my life had i received so many flowers before. also.... the presents and cards... i am flattered. *heartfelt* thank you. THAILAND i love the sunshine and warmth there and i dun mind being tanned into charcoal! the usual stuff: crazy shopping, binged eating and thai massage, then crazy shopping again! this trip has yet again proved that i am a complete idiot in reading maps~! poor me...... PERSONAL TIME i read the novel sister's keeper. watch my favourite TV series SEX & the CITY. listen to the olddies music i felt like i can breath again... this lazy fat pig is going to work tomorrow~~!! | | |
| i hve turtle-like reading speed.... it takes me a month to read one novel... but then i feel so satisfied after finishing one good one.. horhor i am easily moved by story about family and love.. this poetic novel is a touching one... may someone pls come and scold me.... for not spending time with any of my pedi textbooks.... my pedi exam will be "colder than water" can life always be that care free? | | |
| how r u doing my dear friends? this is a month now for working in this place. Cases admitted to our unit are not of great variety but there are much to learn still..... interpreting CXR or examing the throat may sound easy but can indeed be hard to master.... still struggling with drip setting in small baby... but succeeded in setting one difficult drip is like getting a trophy that brighten one boring day... i quite like my current job position, truly. esp. with amanda B to share my workload and more importantly my mo-liu-ness and pak-chi-nesss... hor hor... i guess i still very much wanna be a kid.... and refuse to grow up.... and hey i think i will have my annual leave in early Dec.... anyone interested in a short trip with me? any idea to the desination? i bought five novels from commercial press today.... and i think i will never find the time to read them.... what am i doing? btw happy halloween | | |
| i felt like we are very much protected in this tiny dept. My knowledge in pediatrics is very limited and my clinical sense is also pretty poor i have to say..... thx to the kindness of my seniors... There are much learning opportunities though. They won't make me feel stupid when i was found to be clueless on some simple question... ^^ Drip setting is quite difficult in little kids compared with adults. Luckily we have the support from the MOs and we dun feel embarrased at all when we need their help. because of luck, i did my first LP successfully on a baby yesterday... Little baby are truely adorable~~ esp. some brave one who can endure and co-operate with my needle pricking! I love them but of course working with them is another story... life would not be that simple. i am still exploring on my interest......
so nice to dine out with my colleague in PY MED today. GOOD LUCK AND ADD OIL TO U ALL~ | | |
